How does Animal Farm apply to everyday life?

Animal Farm applies to everyday life with a lot of people and myself by having to deal with rules and conditions. Rules are important for everyone life since they keep people doing the right things and keeps people safer, an example of some rules in my life is that I have a permit to drive and I can only drive with a parent in the car and I can only have one member in the car that isn't in my family. In Animal Farm the animals have to obey the owner of the farm. The animals have to do their work depending on what animal it is. The chickens have to lay the eggs, while the cows have to produce milk for the people to drink. If the animals do not obey those rules they would be punished or with the old age maybe sent to a butcher. If I would not obey the rules with the permit I would have to suffer the consequence of not getting my license until I'm even older then 16.

How can power be gained or lost?

There are several types of power. People can gain power easily and lose power easier. Many ways people can gain power is by being a parent, so they would have authority of their children. Someone can get power by politics either trying to get the power of the country like the president to becoming a mayor and to be in charge of your town. Another way a person would be able to gain power is to do heroic things, such as going over seas and fighting for our country to saving a kitten stuck in a tree. Since power can be gained many ways you have to earn it, it won’t just be handed to you. Once you have earned power there are ways you can lose power. If you become a criminal you can negative power, which no one will look up to you and you wouldn't have power of anything other then your own actions. One of my other reasons how someone can lose power is to lie to get the power then lose it when the truth comes out.

Why you should join sports.

"I hear all the time sports are too hard", "it's not worth getting hurt", and "the chances to make it to the professional level is 1 million to 1". One thing I've learned from being in all kinds of extracurricular activities is "that you have to give up something good to get something better" and if you think about it, it's true all these athletes work for hours and hours trying to push themselves farther and increase their teams skill. Reasons for joining sports are to make friends and for exercise, but whats more important is to have fun doing it. That's why I respect everyone that goes out and gives any sport a chance.
There are plenty of causes for kids, teenagers or even adults to join sports. One of the causes is to make friends that you can build a bond with while being on the team. You can make friends on a team easier since you have something in common to talk about. While being on the team you will get closer to teammates and then you are almost like a family when all of you are together; you will stand up for each other, help each other when one of you are down, and become life long friends. While meeting all kinds of new people you will also be getting a great exercise while in sports. The exercising will help you a lot over all since you wont become obese and you will become conditioned.
My cause for joining sports is to have a lot of fun with my friends, and to make friends while exercising at the same time;because there is more to sports then just winning. You should always have fun with anything you do if it's football, hockey, drama club, etc... The reason for these events are for your enjoyment. Certain events make life better for certain people for Brian Urlacher football is his life, Serena Williams loves tennis, and Derrick Lee has a passion for baseball, I guarantee that these athletes won't complain about the sport their in. When you succeed in sports it is definitely more fun then when you lose. So when you enjoy your practices it will be better all the time.
One reason why sports are a big thing in several lives around the world, and that makes it a even better reason to join sports. When you think about joining a activity remember to have fun, and make friends. If sports are not your forte be open for any opportunities that you may like then have a good time.
